Microsoft Xbox bukan sahaja hanya dicipta untuk bermain gamesnya, tetapi juga boleh melayan lagu2 mp3, menatap gambar2 dan juga menonton videos. Berikut adalah beberapa aplikasi2 menarik Microsoft Xbox yg telah di-mod, juga boleh didapati di daerah Syurga Cetak Rompak Malaysia : Sungei Wang Plaza.

These are the music CDs that I sometimes listen when driving for a long journey. Started to burn them during Beta ( year 2002) until today (Epsilon, 2005). Dscaler Part 2

This is to guide my fellow Lowyat.net forum users to learn more about Dscaler, since they asked me to put some pictures regarding the Dscaler program.
As shown previously, Dscaler is a versatile program. You can listen to Winamp or Yahoo chat while you play your PS2 ( multitasking lah senang citer) , but of course, you're not getting the sound lah. Also, please dont message me while I'm playing GT4, coz that will definitely disturb my "driving concentration".
Some games are NTSC, some are PAL. So, default format is PAL. When you see the screen flicker, then try changing to NTSC JAPAN mode. Why JAPAN? I dunno. Gambar nampak lagi cantik kalau pakai Jepun nyer NTSC mode. 
Use these settings. But may vary on your PC spec though. Try play around with the settings to get the best performance.

Hotel Istana Practical Training :P

23-25 November,2005
I was sent to Hotel Istana, KL to assist one of my company's staff, Mr. Mithran to handle an event there. The hotel was nice, the environment, the staffs ( although ada satu dua yg kerek gak ), and of course, the FOOD!
For 3 days, I helped them organize the Forum Asia event. Many delegates from various Asian countries like India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philipines, etc, came for the meeting. Also, I made some new friends as well, from Thailand and Philipines. There's this Zack & Mel from Thai, and Ms. Chian from Tawau, Sabah. Bahasa Melayu baaakuu rocks ya? haha!
The food was damn nice lah. During lunch, everyday steak ar. Lamb chop with Blackpaper sauce, White chicken with mushroom sauce, Lobster, etc etc. Tiramisu, cheese cake, Pudding with peach, bread crumbs with vanilla sauce, and you eat them for 3 days... man, I was like in heaven lah..  But, hari2 makan steak pun rasa bosan la plak haha!
I dont mind going for my industrial training at these kind of places anytime!

Raya Open Houses 2005

My friends been asking me to upload the pictures that I took during the open houses, so here they are.
Been to 3 open houses this week. One was last Wednesday at Aydil's in PJ, another was in Subang yesterday at Ilyana's, or should I say, Kak Ilyana & the last one was today, at my friend's house in Klang, the Navigator who followed me during the mis-adventure in Semenyih last week hehe
Went to my sister's open house cum b'day party for her son, aka my nephew with my housemate Saiful on the 26th at Bukit Tinggi, Klang. Pergh! Free food again. Jimat duit for lunch. Thanks sis!
Oh yeah, if you want to request the high resolution pictures, without the Zaryl Copyright mark there , email me yeah? I'll send them to you, IF I have the time hehe.
So friends, kalau ada lagi open house next week ke, jgn la malu2 nak ajak eh?
** Update **
On the night of 30th, I decided to go to MMU's Malam Gemerlapan Aidilfitri, a jamuan Hari Raya kinda thing. Met Amir, Feisal, Pejal, Rauf and Imin too. The food was ok lah, mee soto ada, roti jala, etc. Ada pertunjukan silat and some nasyid performance too. Hah Amir, just as promised, ni aku dah letak gambar2 dlm fotopages aku. So, bagi la comment skit hehe

Mis-adventures in Semenyih

Mmg "takde kerja" masa last Saturday ( dont feel like playing my Xbox, DvD semua dah habis layan, Astro takde rancangan menarik, etc) so, me and my friend decided to explore Semenyih during the afternoon. We started our journey around 2.37pm, with the fuel indicator at the 4th bar. Me being the driver and my friend being the navigator / photographer.
During our journey, we encountered quite a few obstacles in our path, antara nya; a freakin' long traffic jam, sesat kat kampung mana entah, hampir accident ngan kereta, hampir meng-arwahkan kera2 kat area Empangan Semenyih & etc. 
Finally reached our last destination: The Semenyih Dam. Jalan nak masuk ke sana, man... macam track Need For Speed la plak. Ada jugak la apply skit skill Gran Turismo 4 kat jalan2 Semenyih ni; slow-in fast-out from corners, hard braking, grip driving, understeer effect etc The road to go to the dam itself took us around 39mins... 
Ended our journey around 6.54pm, and reached Klang around 7.47pm. Tiring journey but it was fun. Unfortunately, I havent FULLY explore Semenyih yet. Maybe "esok lusa" lah kut.
This has got to be one of my CRAZIEST mis-adventure yet...

Went back during Deepavali, my dad being the driver and me, the co-driver. After stopping by at R&R Bukit Gantang, it's my turn to do the driving. Penat jugak bawak for 2-3 hours, now I know how my father felt while driving for long hours.  Ingat nak apply skill Gran Turismo 4 skit, grip driving, late braking, slow-in fast-out, etc tapi kena lecture ngan my dad, said this is the real thing, bukan nye game. Ala, GT4 tu bukan simulation ke? Simulation = reproduction or representation, as of a potential situation or in experimental testing.
Seperti biasa, lepas semayang raya, pegi beraya di rumah sedara2 lah. Ada yg dulu kecik2 comel2, skrg sudah jadi anak2 dara tersohor di kampung2 hehe . Byk group of cousins that I met and interacted with them. One group layan Naruto; ni cousins kecik2 ar. Naruto la best, main hero what ar? One group layan rugbi, siap tgk VCD tunjuk game highlights. Go Wallabies yeargh! haha! . Another group suka sangat layan citer jiwang Indonesia. Ni cousins pompuan ar. Hebat menganalisa satu citer sampai mengalahkan penganalisa movie ni. Hari tu ada gak la tgk skit Tentang Dia kat tv with the cousins. Ter-uja jugak saya dgn Sigi Wilma / Wilima / whatever her name is.
Surprisingly, I do still get my duit raya this year. Hmm..maybe this will be my last la kut? Next time, it's my turn to give them duit raya argh! Soalan2 biasa yg selalu didengar masa di kampung:
"Adon ( my common nickname among my family & relatives ), berapa lama lagi habis study?"
= "erm, setengah tahun lagi"
"Engineering course apa best kat MMU ar?" = "Multimedia engineering lah whatelse?"
Tapi ni soalan cepu emas yg mmg payah nak jawab ar..
"Adon...mana tunang hang? Bawak mai sini bagi tuk nak tengok." = "err..."
Aduh! Tensi nye aku!!

Dscaler + PS2

In other words, kalau nak main PS2 / Xbox kat PC, this is the software that you need to get the maximum quality. Plus, of course, you'll be needing a TV Card. Any brand will do, but the one I'm using is Xpert Stream Tvcard, cost you RM155 at Lowyat. Also, dont forget to get a S-video cable for your PS2. Coz, lemme quote from my favourite multimedia textbook ; Fundamentals of Multimedia . : " ... it uses 2 wires, one for luminance & another for a composite chrominance signal. As a result, there is less CROSSTALK between color information & the crucial gray-scale information. "
So in other words, again, pakai S-video will produce the best graphics quality if compared to using RCA / composite / wayar merah, kuning & putih using Dscaler. Nak tau dgn lebih lanjut kenapa, sila ambik course Multimedia Engineering MMU sekian terima kasih.
